Strong. Independent. Interconnected.
The brief couldn’t have been any clearer: to design a trade fair stand at CES 2019 that showcases the interconnected solutions of Bosch, one of the world’s leading IoT companies. But how to wow a client who was delighted with the previous year’s experience? The solution: instead of the planned revolution, we presented an evolution.

When creating our concept, we took our cue from the key benefit of IoT. Whether self-driving vehicles or intelligent lawn mowers, IoT does one thing above all else: it connects different areas of life, making all our daily lives easier. It lets us take a break to reflect and catch our breath.
Therefore, with its high-quality materials and solid construction, the architecture exudes one thing above all: calm, confidence and strength. On the one hand, it offers clearly separated structures that give the individual business areas space to take effect. On the other, the spatial volume – with its dynamic partitions – provides a reliable connection for the various themed areas. Fluid transitions between these areas, coupled with an intuitive wayfinding system, guide visitors from the big picture to the individual interconnected solution. As they move around the stand, they naturally come into contact with exhibits and contact representatives.

The stand at CES 2019 further underscores the positioning of Bosch as a market leader in the Internet of Things. It forms the foundation for the #LikeABosch IoT corporate image campaign, launched at the same time, without losing sight of the brand essence. The client’s verdict: ‘This stand is 100 per cent Bosch.’ For us, this is the ultimate praise.
